Sorb, I was fixing up your last post before I’d even gotten a chance to do that crossword. I tried to pay attention to as little of your content as possible while working, but of course the one word that got stuck in my mind was BRALESS, which wasn’t even the right answer for 49A.
Half of my struggle on the southeast corner was me going “how in the hell am I supposed to fit a seven-letter word into nine spaces???”
Anyway, my focus has been divided a hundred different ways the past week or so, so although I’m doing puzzles, it’s mostly just for the sake of doing them. Short post, which is a sadly-deflating moment during the BIG LAUNCH of our AMAZING BLOG, but what can you do sometimes.
Did not realize until right now that this is an Oops All Puzzmo! post. Since I’m on the topic, though, it looks like they just announced that Ribbit will be a permanent fixture. All I can say is: yes, of course; I knew from day one they’d struck gold with Ribbit, and the idea that it would see a limited run was laughable.
I’m not sure the same can be said about their new experimental game Headline Shuffle… but that’s a conversation for some other time.

I just wanted to joke that, while both Puzzmo crosswords on Mother’s Day were appropriately themed, you just know that when Father’s Day rolls around dad won’t get anything more than a phone call.

I’m already in slump mode when I get hit with what might be the hardest crossword I’ve seen on Puzzmo. The top-right, top-center, and bottom-center all gave me problems.
Somehow I’m expected to know both who Andy Murray is AND recognize LOB as thing he would smash. Meanwhile, I couldn’t dredge up the crucially-placed DACA or FLASHCARD from the depths of my memory, MIFF wasn't coming to me either, ONSEN is one of those terms that I vaguely know but only to the extent that I could read it in context, and I’d absolutely never heard of the theme entry GREATCIRCLE. I was only saved from this nightmare when I finally realized that the auto-tune clue was referring to CHER. Messy, messy.

6D: _____
Usually this is the kind of shit you only see with theme answers. Nope, this is the actual clue. Fortunately the answer BLANK is really the only one I wouldn’t have been completely outraged by, so, thanks I guess.

22A, Fudge alternative? The answer was DRAT. Let’s just say my first guess was… in the same ballpark, but probably way more accurate.
